Jim and Penny Donaldson renewed their marriage vows on Sunday, April
13, 2008. Married at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Columbus, Ohio on April 11, 1958, they are faithful members of
St. Mary's and serve in many capacities. Pam Hubric, Penny's sister and a member of the wedding party, was present.
Their "St. Mary's family" was joined by friends from the Tyaskin
- Bivalue - Nanticoke communities as well as Salisbury to observe this occasion and wish them well in the years
ahead. Guest organist Don Brohawn added his outstanding musical talents to the service as everyone sang the Donaldsons'
favorite hymns. A citation from Bishop James Shand was read extending his prayers and best wishes.
A delicious brunch was served after the service by the church members.
Special gifts included a memorial picture matting on which everyone signed their names together with congratulatory comments.
A letter acknowledging this event from Mr. Rick Pollitt, Wicomico County Executive, was presented.

To Jim and Penny Donaldson on their 50th Wedding Anniversary:
It is obvious to me and to many others
that your mariage is a partnership that revolves
around your deep love for each other not only as husband and wife, but as children of God. You are friends as well as
companions in life, and this is a good thing. May God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit bless you and abide with you always.
The Rt. Rev. James J. Shand
Tenth Bishop of the Diocese
of Easton
