Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Day were active for members of St. Mary's, their families, friends and visitors.  It began with Palm Sunday and a procession around the church, continuing with the traditional Good Friday Ecumenical Service at Asbury United Methodist Church and concluding with the baptism of Kelsey Holman and celebration of Christ's resurrection on Easter Day.

Kelsey's mother Laura, grandparents Roger and Deena Cook, and great grandmother Sis Cheyne, together with other family members and friends welcomed her to the Body of Christ and her extended family at St. Mary's.  In addition to her baptismal certificate, Kelsey received a candle to be lit on the anniversary of her baptism and a banner for her room that declares "I am a child of God."  A wonderful reception followed in the parish hall.

O God, who for our redemption gave your only‑begotten Son to the death of the cross, and by his glorious resurrection delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen.
