Highlighting St. Mary's Holiday activities were the Oyster Fritter Fry and Bazaar, and the
Christmas Eve Service held with our Methodist brothers and sisters from the area.
Continuing the practice of selling out the Oyster Fritters late in the morning even though
the number available was increased, the Saturday event was a success. Hamburgers, hot dogs and "delictabes" from the
"goody" table satisfied even the most discriminating palate.
Many "treasurers" were purchased at the bazaar tables including some Christmas gifts.
A "Prayer Quilt" was auctioned after a number of tickets were sold.
The Rev. Billy Frick of the West Side Ministries delivered the sermon during the Christmas
Eve Service. The church was beautiful with the many poinsetteas donated and dedicated to loved ones.
